Celebrate Black History Month and Chinese New Year.

Grace University invites you to celebrate the history and culture of our community

Black History Month 2021 theme : “Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity”. This year's theme "explores the African diaspora, and the spread of Black families across the United States".

Here are a couple of free events. Check online for more events through February

The Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is holding virtual events that "affirm and preserve the accomplishments of African Americans throughout history". Events are free. Registration is required.

Chicago Children's Choir virtual concert, livestreaming on Facebook and Youtube on Thursday, February 25, at 6:45 p.m. Central Time

Chinese New Year - 4,000+ years of history and the longest holiday of the year

Also known as Spring Festival

Friday, February 12. Celebrations end on Friday, February 26, with the Lantern Festival
