Grace University is delighted to welcome new Board members
Scott Schrader, D.H. L.
Dr. Schrader is Pastor and CFO with Global Network Ministries, Vineyard Community Church, Laguna Niguel, CA. He oversees finances, and teaches and performs pastoral duties including leading worship and prayer meetings. Previously, he was Trainer with Ceridian, formerly System Tax Services, where he taught Payroll, Payroll Tax and new programs created by the company. In addition, he developed hands-on training for groups on projects and created training manuals and documentation for new programs.
An ordained Rabbi, Dr. Schrader has a Doctorate in Hebrew Letters from Torah Yeshiva Institute. He is a gifted writer and poet and combines these gifts deftly with skills in Hebrew, biblical knowledge, evangelism, and music (guitar).
Lena Matheos, M.A.
Lena Matheos brings enthusiasm, compassion and remarkable knowledge of philanthropy and extensive background in human services to the board. Lena placed a high value on integrity as she successfully managed multi-departmental responsibilities in various behavioral health industries. As Administrator at Encompass Treatment Services, she directs daily flow of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient Program (OP), reviews clinical documentation and works closely with the billing company to ensure the best financial outcome.
Lena has a Master of Arts in Human Services and Counseling from Capella University. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is CPR/First Aid-certified. She speaks fluent Greek and conversational Spanish.
Janice “Kay” Proby-Waller, B.S.
Kay proudly walks the talk as a fervent Christian who believes in serving her community. A retired Caddo Parish Deputy Sheriff after 34 years of service, she has a strong track record in IT, Tax, Human Resources, as well as Payroll and Accounting. She has logged countless hours in community service, working with Caddo/Bossier Veteran’s Celebration Committee, Shriners Children’s Hospital, Mercy House and Salvation Army, among others.
She has collaborated with neighborhoods and numerous organizations to organize Neighborhood Clean-Up Days and National Night-Outs.
Kay earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Northwestern State University, Louisiana.
She holds several professional memberships, including honorary member of Louisiana Sheriffs Association and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Chair of its Community and International Involvement Committee.
